60 architectural firms appointed to Khan’s new framework

The 60 architectural practices have been confirmed for London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s £3m Architecture and Urbanism framework.

A total of 14 ‘lots’ have been announced covering the gamut of London design projects from masterplanning and public realm, to housing, commercial, over-station development, and public art. The 60 practices, some of whom feature in more than one ‘lot’, were chosen from over 225 shortlisted applicants.

The teams chosen will be in line for a plethora of Transport for London and City Hall commissions over the next four years. The framework replaces the ADUP panel, and includes the promise of over 100 affordable residential developments planned for TfL’s estate.
