AET recently announced an exclusive distribution deal with Italian based DAE Energia; introducing heat metering solutions for residential and commercial applications. They have since secured their first order, supplying to the historical Hexgreave Hall in Nottinghamshire.
Hexgreave Hall is part of the Hexgreave Estate, purchased in 1996 by local resident, Tony Strawson. The Estate has been completely refurbished and today serves as a busy business park, including a number of live-work residences. The Estate has its own district heating system providing heat for all properties using estate grown willow, and there is capacity to generate over 100kW of electricity from solar panels. Such centralised heating systems can easily integrate low and zero carbon technologies, and the AET Heat Interface Units (HIUs) are able to address specific considerations, for example, end user time and temperature control and metering/billing of individual energy use.
Units supplied by AET are floor standing 300L storage units, designed to provide communal developments with independent fast recovery hot water and high efficiency heating, providing the end user with the same autonomy as if they had their own boiler and tank. The HIU draws energy from the main heating primary circuit delivered from a centralised plantroom and an integrated energy meter can be tailored to meet requirements of the building operator and residents.
