KLC School of Design’s new Gap Course in Interior Design is for school or college leavers who are considering a career in interior design. The two week course in the July holidays will allow students to learn about the development of a design project from the brief to the preliminary presentation and all the key aspects that are involved in the process. The course will also provide an overview of what is involved in interior design and an introduction to the essential skills and areas of knowledge needed for a career in the profession.
The programme is carefully constructed around inspirational talks, demonstrations and a series of enjoyable interactive workshops all taught by a professional interior designer and industry specialist. Jenny Gibbs, Principal KLC School of Design said:
“KLC’s Gap Year Course provides a sound investment for the future offering an introduction to a possible career route and the added bonus of life enhancing skills”
The course is suitable for complete beginners and students with a strong interest in art and design to gain confidence and a sense of achievement as they make steady progress with their studies.
