Balmorals London, bathroom specialists’ Approved Document M compliant toilet and washbasin solution is stylish, cost-effective and fully compliant.
The i.Care Doc M Close Coupled & Low Level Pack presents a 470mm white ceramic raised height WC, with a ring seat and a choice of either a single raised chrome push button or lever activated close-coupled cistern of which Balmorals has reported customers are especially interested in the latter option, this being because the chrome spatula-shaped lever is easier to use than the push button. Indeed for people with arthritic hands, it can even be operated using the elbow if required; while adjacent to the WC the i.Care Pack places a swing arm safety rail with integral toilet roll holder.
Moving round the room the mono-tap wash-handbasin and brackets is fitted with a sequential, lever-activated mixer tap which is again easy to operate for those with dexterity issues. The pack contains a bottle trap and a 32 mm flush grated waste fitting.
Further aiding mobility there is set of five 600mm long grab rails, which can be supplied in white and blue finishes to fit in with the chosen décor, so style is in no way compromised. These are intended to be mounted beside the toilet, either side of the wash-handbasin and one on the back of the door.
The attractive i.Care Doc M Close Coupled Pack carries full LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Approval, so can be confidently specified for both domestic and commercial applications. The pack is also CE compliant and fully WRAS approved as well as tested and approved to BS EN 997:20012.
The modern and uncluttered lines of the i.Care range mean that the suite is easy to keep clean, thus making it ideal for care environments where the spread of germs must be combatted. There is an A4 technical data sheet with full colour image available, while Balmorals can also offer assistance with the design and specification of individual washrooms.
