Finding the perfect solution is easier with Gerflor’s new website

Vinyl and linoleum flooring specialist Gerflor’s new website will make it easier for architects, specifiers, interior designers, contractors and customers to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Users can search in several ways, including for a named range, such as Mipolam or Tarasafe™ by type, such as for homogeneous, or safety; by end use, such as healthcare or retail; or by using the multi-criteria tool which automatically narrows the search as questions are answered.

And once a short-list has been created, the ‘Interior Designer’ function shows the selected flooring in a variety of locations for a realistic portrayal of what it would look like in situ. The CAD service also offers the opportunity for architects and designers to download a specific texture and integrate into their own CAD software.

Users can also upload photographs of specific rooms to their personal account and the simulator will create images of that space with the specified flooring. Those images can then be saved, downloaded and emailed to the client.

Martine Gillet-Araïc, internet project co-ordinator for Gerflor, said:

“Gerflor’s website is as innovative as its products. This will be the focal point for communicating about our many ranges and the technical, environmental and design support we can provide.”

She added: “As well as providing all the technical and environmental information in a virtual library, there will be sections of design ideas and inspirations so users will be kept up to date with the very latest trends.”

As well as detailing colour choices and technical performance, pages will also suggest alternative flooring solutions, as well as complementary products.

Martine Gillet-Araïc added:

“Sometimes different products can appear quite similar, so we are putting the relevant information about each product in one quick block.”
