Firestone co-ordinates roofing and lining under new national sales manager

Firestone Building Products, the leading EPDM waterproofing membrane specialist, has appointed former lining sales manager, Andrew Cooper, in a newly created role as national sales manager.

Andrew’s new role sees him taking on sales and business development responsibility across commercial roofing, modular roofing and lining sectors, building on his previous remit of lining sales for decorative ponds, landscaping features and irrigation reservoirs for the agricultural sector. His remit as national sales manager will be to work closely with Firestone’s sales and technical teams across both commercial and modular roofing and lining, supporting specifiers and contractors with expert knowledge and a service-driven approach to sales.

With a 20-year track record in technical sales, Andrew joined Firestone in 2014 and has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s lining business. He will utilise that experience and understanding of the company’s added value approach to combining technical consultancy with product supply in his new role, which will include CPD presentations to architects and consultants, along with supporting the technical team in carrying out site assessments and developing contractor relationships with after sales support and training.
