“It is only natural that every member of the team should sign as a part of the submission because every one of them played their part in the review and in the continuing success it has brought us. In just the same way, if we are chosen as winners, they can all be equally as proud of the trophy.”

The Window Company (Contracts), which specialises in window and door installations for clients and contractors across the public sector, has been named as a finalist in the Installer of the Year category at the G-Awards for the second year running.

“This is a great achievement and a tremendous accolade for the whole team who have worked so hard to deliver market leading levels of performance.”

Synseal has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories Component upplier of the Year and Glass Company of the Year. This double achievement reflects the dynamic progress that the company has made under the hands-on leadership of David Leng and the Synseal board of directors.

David Leng, Synseal’s Chief Executive, commented:

“We are delighted that the G14 Awards judging panel has shortlisted Synseal as finalists for two categories. These awards champion progress and technical achievement in equal measure and we look forward to a cracking event in London, which is a welcome opportunity to relax with colleagues and friendly competitors and jointly celebrate the very best our industry has to offer.”

Mila is celebrating after its Triple Care Technical Support service was shortlisted in the Customer Care Initiative category at the G-14 awards. Having won the Component Supplier of the Year award in both 2013 and 2011, Mila is keen to demonstrate that its expertise extends beyond outstanding product design and logistics and into customer support as well.

Richard Gyde, Managing Director of Mila, said:

“We’re delighted that our dedicated technical team has been recognised in the awards. The service they provide is hugely valued by customers and, with the introduction of the Triple Care package, it’s now more accessible than ever.”

Solidor has followed up their G13 Award for Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail as a finalist in the same category at the G14 Awards, as their impressive consumer campaign continues to deliver a large number of pre-qualified enquiries for their “Recommended Installer Network.”

Gareth Mobley, managing director of Solidor group commented:

‘Again we find ourselves in the finals of the G-Awards for Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail and we’re absolutely thrilled. We’ve had an incredible last 12 months since winning last year’s award in the same category, testament to our customers, partners and the demand from the end consumer.’

Lister Trade Frames hit a new industry milestone with this year’s awards – 2014 has seen them achieve 10 consecutive years being nominated as finalists. This year they have been nominated in two categories of the awards; Fabricator of the Year and Environmental Initiative of the Year.

Mark Warren, Listers’ Managing Director commented:

“We look forward to the G-Awards as the highlight of the year and sincerely thank the organisers for running it. It’s a great event to enjoy whether you’re winners or not. All the finalists have to be outstanding to get nominated. We wish everyone the best on the night of the G-Awards that highlight the best of the best in glazing.”

SWISSPACER, the leading warm edge spacer bar has reached the G-14 Awards finals, shortlisted for the Promotional Campaign of the Year – Trade category. Marketing & Sales Manager, Vic De Costa, commented:

“The G-14 Awards is a highlight in the glazing calendar and a fantastic evening out. Importantly, the awards recognise the achievements of companies and the standard is always very high. Our campaign has been very successful in winning sales and new customers, so we’re delighted to be nominated. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for 21st November!”

It is certainly an exciting time for many GGF companies making this year’s G14 Awards one of the highlights of the year. Nigel Rees added his best wishes:

“Congratulations to all the finalists at reaching this stage of the G14 Awards. I wish them all the very best of luck for what promises to be another excellent event”
