The Royal Pavilion is an amazing sculptural object that sits at the end of the world’s longest Grade II listed pleasure pier. Strikingly modern, it still follows the tradition of Victorian pier architecture, reclaiming the pier as the town’s main attraction. Josef Kolar of Sprunt Architects talks about the concept behind the building and how it was brought to life, through their collaboration with leading Scandinavian architects White arkitekter.
