Iceni kicks off the new year with three appointments

Planning and development consultancy Iceni Projects made three strategic appointments to bolster its planning team.

Freya Turtle joined Iceni as a Senior Planner from GL Hearn. She began her career in stakeholder engagement and public consultation prior to specialising in town planning.

With extensive experience in small, medium and large strategic sites across London and the South East, Turtle’s recent projects include Countryside Beaulieu Park development in Chelmsford for up to 3,600 dwellings and the New Covent Garden Market scheme in Nine Elms.

The team also welcomed Emma Conwell as an Assistant Planner and Sophie Hardy as Assistant Planner.

Conwell joined from Persimmon Homes South East where she was involved in strategic planning and regional policy. Sophie was previously a planning officer at London Borough of Barnet where she was a Planning Officer.

Ian Anderson, Executive Director at Iceni Projects, emphasised on the company’s success in 2015 when the company acquired Paul Drew Design and appointed former MP Nick Raynsford as a consultant.

He said:

“Last year was excellent for Iceni and we have started 2016 in the same vain. We are delighted that Freya, Emma and Sophie have chosen to join us and look forward to them developing their careers at Iceni.”
