LAMILUX Launch new Glass Skylight at Futurebuild

At Futurebuild LAMILUX unveiled the brand new LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE3° – never before seen in the UK. With its 3° inclination and the Structural Glazing Construction, the new LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE provides a functional, and aesthetically pleasing solution which ensures rainwater can run-off easily alongside maximum natural daylight at all times.

In 2019, the newly developed LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE entered the market. This non-inclined version has already won numerous awards including the German Design Award and the Red Dot Award. This version with a 3° inclination built into the framework means that this product can be installed on a completely flat roof.

About Glass Skylight FE 3°

The production of the skylight involves a new joining technology, allowing the framework to be joined at the corners without any visible fixings or welding seams. LAMILUX uses structural glazing technology, in which the glass pane and frame are bonded to create a flush surface and allow rainwater and dirt to run off all four sides of the glass, even if a non-inclined skylight is installed. The new three degree inclined version makes rainwater run off the glass even faster.

The consistent appearance has no visible fixings while the concealed integration of all drives, cables and other components into the frame of the skylight ensures a streamlined appearance both internally and externally.

Offering variety, the LAMILUX Glass Skylight FE is available in special shapes as well as a wide variety of glazing and sizes up to 2.5 meters with freely selectable outside and inside colours of the skylight offering creative flexibility in terms of design.

The product’s official sales launch is 1 April 2020.
