The UK’s finest developers, architects, interior designers and real estate agents will gather at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Friday, October 18th to hear the long-anticipated results of the UK Property Awards sponsored by Gaggenau. During a high-profile gala dinner, more than 100 UK companies from 45 counties will learn which level of honours they have received and if they will go on to compete in the International Property Awards global competition sponsored by Virgin Atlantic.
Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said:
“In such a highly industrialized region as the United Kingdom, the standards for excellence are very high. These winning companies have stood out from the crowd by creating unique and innovative properties that elevate the character and appearance of UK towns and cities.”
Awards will be given to the country’s most impressive architecture, developments, and interior design for a variety of property types, including leisure facilities, shopping centres, high-rises, public service buildings, office complexes, golf courses, and multiple and single residences. In addition to honouring the most innovative and attractive properties, a number of awards will be bestowed upon the region’s best real estate agencies, property consultants, and industry websites and marketing campaigns. Lord Bates, Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords in British Parliament will present each winning company with special plaques for either ‘Highly Commended’ or ‘Five Star’ awards.
The top scoring 5-star winners have been placed under further examination and just one from each category will be named a regional UK winner at the end of the evening. The regional winners will represent the UK in the International Final ‘World’s Best’ Property Awards hosted in London this coming December. They will compete against other regional winners from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to find the ultimate World’s Best in each category.
The UK Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, the world’s richest competition when measured by the value of the projects entered. The award winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry. The UK Property Awards rank amongst the most prestigious commendations in the residential and commercial property sectors. A high-calibre jury of international experts identifies the most significant building projects as well as the highest quality UK estate agencies, property consultants and industry websites and marketing campaigns.
The judging panel consists of approximately 70 professionals including Andrew Panting, Director of Operations for the British Property Federation, Peter Bolton King, Global Residential Director of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and Christian Morris, Director / Owner of architectural firm Yotomo Ltd.
