Perkins and Will responds to virtual planning committees announcement

Steven Charlton, managing director, principal of Perkins and Will said:

“With this unprecedented leap to digital working, there is a great demand for policy to adapt to suit the diverse needs of the property sector, so that we can continue with the intricate planning procedures for our ongoing projects. I’m glad to see that the recommendations put forward in our Radical Regeneration Manifesto, launched in collaboration with Bidwells and Blackstock, are being put to use to help reform an outdated, and ineffective system. This step forward through implementing the regulations for virtual planning committees will help speed up the process as we all commit to a different way of progressing.”
