Perkins+Will makes strategic promotion to its London studio

Global architecture and design firm, Perkins+Will, has announced the strategic promotion of Richard Jordan to Head of Corporate Interiors in its London studio.

Richard will be responsible for maintaining and building on the company’s position as one of London’s top three corporate interiors firms, leading a group of 70 designers and driving the team’s continued growth. He will work closely with Linzi Cassels, Principal and Design Director on Perkins+Will’s Global Design Board.

With over 25 years’ experience working in commercial office design for global organisations, Richard has a track record in delivering interiors that combine creative design with health and wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with a range of leading organisations, including financial, legal, corporate, accounting and public sector clients.

Richard Jordan, Head of Corporate Interiors at Perkins+Will’s London studio, said: “We’ve reached an exciting juncture in corporate interiors, where occupiers have a greater awareness of design and the impact their offices have on the productivity and the health of their staff, while scrutinising their real estate to deliver greater levels of efficiency.

“Drawing on Perkins+Will’s global knowledge base, I will ensure our studio stays relevant to our clients in the next era and that we continue to deliver office space that works for the people in it.”

Steven Charlton, Managing Director at Perkins+Will’s London studio, added: “Richard’s talent and drive is exactly what the London studio needs to stay at the forefront of corporate interiors.

“He was instrumental in leading the design team of our new office in Whitechapel, which has led to greater collaboration, knowledge exchange and creativity in the studio. Perkins+Will is undergoing an exciting period of change and growth, and Richard is an integral part of the process.”
