The world’s largest manufacturer of powder coatings for architectural applications announces sponsorship of Materials for Architecture 2018
AkzoNobel Powder Coatings has announced its sponsorship of Materials for Architecture, the conference and exhibition for architects and specifiers coming to London’s ILEC Centre on the 25-26 April 2018.
Over the years, some of the most prestigious developments across the world including the Shard, Beijing’s Birds Nest Stadium, and the Pompidou Centre in Paris, have specified AkzoNobel’s Interpon D series, which boasts a track record of over 30 years.
The leading supplier of paints and coatings for architectural aluminium and steel is known for continually striving to offer solutions to the architectural market that not only meets existing demand but those in the future.
AkzoNobel are pleased to be featuring a new range of enhanced aesthetic finishes which have been developed to meet the standards and aesthetics of contemporary architectural designs. This includes a collection of super-durable metallic finishes providing compelling alternatives to the main shades of anodised aluminium.
Specification Manager at AkzoNobel, Naveen Sandhu, said about Materials for Architecture:
“The event offers a more intimate platform to engage with specifiers. The opportunity to partake in CPD seminars also allows us to strengthen our presence and raise awareness of the possibilities that our coatings can offer.”
Powder coating finishes are continually evolving and AkzoNobel are very much at the forefront of meeting architectural trends. They will be showcasing an assortment of multi-component effects that resemble alternative materials including stone and concrete.
These special effect finishes demonstrate variations in colour and patination and offer the benefits that the company’s D2525 technology encompasses. The range offers additional advantages in significantly reducing a building’s weight load and providing ease of installation for cladding contractors.
