The Outdoor Deck Company launches Class A fire-rated external pedestal flooring system to meet new UK Building Regulations to improve building fire safety

The Outdoor Deck Company, (ODC) one of the UK’s largest suppliers and installers of external high quality decking, today announced the launch of its new innovative Class A fire-rated DuraLink system.

ODC are first-to-market in the UK to offer the construction industry an external pedestal flooring solution that meets the newly imposed UK building regulations on fire safety that can be used for decking and paving or other fire-rated substrates.

The unique Class A fire-rated raised floor system offers a strong, light and fully adjustable platform to be used for decking and paving. ODC also supply A2 rated decking and external paving (procelain and concrete pavers). An additional key feature is the low build-up possibilities, starting at 40mm, this was developed to meet the high volume of requests from architects and main contractors to have this product versatility.
