After receiving a huge number of submissions, the nominations are in for the inaugural Construction Enquirer Awards.
The industry can now vote for the winners across each of the twelve categories.
One of the most prized awards on the night will be for ‘Best Main Contractor To Work For (Over £250m Turnover)’. A range of leading firms have been initially shortlisted for the title including Carillion, BAM and Willmott Dixon. Competition will be fierce though, with Kier Group, Amey, Galliford Try and 16 others also nominated.
In return contractors have been nominating their favourite clients to work for within both the private and public sectors. An array of high-profile clients has been put forward for the title of ‘Best Client To Work For (Private Sector)’ covering a host of industries. Nathan Garnett, Event Director for UK Construction Week, commented:
“The calibre of nominees for the awards has been extremely high and all deserve recognition. We look forward to see who comes out on top at what promises to be an evening of pride and celebration at UK Construction Week. Voting is now open and I would encourage everyone to take the time to support the companies who make construction such a great industry to work in.”
