Parsons Brinckerhoff has been appointed by Canary Wharf Construction Limited (CWCL) to provide building services and sustainability consultancy for the high profile Ten Bank Street building at Canary Wharf.
Canary Wharf Group has been granted planning consent for this 700,000 sq ft. landmark office tower, situated in the heart of Canary Wharf. The primary tenant in the building will have the opportunity to tailor the layout to suit its occupational requirements, and may also choose to align the façade with its corporate branding.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, which was the engineer for the Shard and New York’s Freedom Tower, is currently working on a number of high rise buildings in the capital including 22 Bishopsgate and Meridian Gate, and many more across the world.
Richard Gubbins, project director, said: “This is another significant win for our high rise team here in London. Our building services team alone are involved in several buildings comprising over one million square feet in London, and this high profile project win for a well-respected client cements our position as one of, if not the best engineer for tall buildings in London and the UK.”
