Introducing Ipalyss
Part of Ideal Standard’s premium, design-led Atelier Collections, Ipalyss was made with colour in mind. This collection’s ultra-thin basins are available in twelve unique colours chosen by Italian design studio Palomba Serafini Associati (PS+A) to complement popular materials, such as marble and stone.
Ipalyss basins are made with Ideal Standard’s pioneering Diamatec® technology, developed using a blend of alumina and chamotte that allows designers to achieve thinner, stronger shapes. As a result, the five different basin shapes available in the Ipalyss collection feature spectacularly thin edges; combined with the wide choice of colour they are the perfect statement piece for the commercial washroom and specifically designed not to crack under the pressure of high-traffic spaces.
Mix it up
Washroom mixer taps also bring with them the opportunity for an injection of colour. Joy and Joy Neo, two more highlights from the Atelier Collections, are available in four different finishes – Chrome, Magnetic Grey, Brushed Gold, and Silver Storm.
Colours are added using physical vapour deposition (PVD), a thin protective coating applied in a vacuum which ensures the taps are ten times more resistant to chemicals, wear, impact, discolouration, and corrosion. This added protection is particularly in important in high-footfall commercial and workplace washrooms.
