Avant Homes West Yorkshire has appointed a managing director to lead the housebuilder’s expansion strategy in the region.
Richard Hosie, who was previously a managing director for Persimmon Homes, has 19 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry.
In his new role, Richard is working closely with the company’s land, construction, technical and sales teams to further expand Avant Homes’ operations and developments across West Yorkshire.
Commenting on his appointment, Richard said:
“Avant Homes has a clear national and regional expansion strategy, and my task is to further implement it within West Yorkshire.
“I have joined a talented team full of highly capable and committed people. Together, we will achieve our growth objectives by seeking out new opportunities in popular locations to deliver our exciting range of new homes.”
Avant Homes West Yorkshire currently has nine live developments ranging from Wakefield to Waverley with many more due to start as the business continues to activate its expansion plans.

Avant Homes West Yorkshire is part of the Avant Homes Group which currently operates across the Midlands, north of England and Scotland from eight regional operating businesses.
At present, the housebuilder employs more than 600 people with ambition to grow further across its existing regions and beyond, creating communities and providing employment opportunities for many.
Avant Homes Group has a medium-term strategic objective to sell more than 6,000 new homes per annum.
