Encasement covers the angles with Quadra column casings

Quadra four-sided casings are a key product in Encasement’s Verta column casings range and provide a highly versatile solution for concealing interior structural steelwork and building services, while also providing a stylish and durable finish to each project.

By using Quadra square or rectangular casings to conceal structural columns, they enable floor space to be maximised, as they can be fitted more closely to the shape of steel supports, while allowing the maximum design flexibility in terms of size and finish options.

Manufactured from 8mm thick preformed plywood, produced using UKTR compliant and sustainably sourced timbers, Quadra casings can be specified in a wide range of high pressure laminate (HPL) finishes to contrast or blend in with interior design schemes, while also providing durable scuff resistant surfaces.

The range is available in standard dimensions from 300mm to 1000mm square, but their versatility also allows the square and rectangular profiles to be specified with bespoke sizes to meet the specific needs of individual projects.

Single Quadra casings can be specified with a maximum height of 3.0 metres, but where extended heights need to be reached the casings can also be stacked to meet individual project specifications.

This design versatility makes Quadra suitable for a broad scope of interior applications that demand a combination of decorative finishes with practicality and durability, including projects with high pedestrian traffic, such as schools & colleges, as well as the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

Quadra casings have already been installed in a diverse range of projects from Worksop Bus Terminus and Blackburn Indoor Markets’ café, to Farnborough Sixth Form College, The Dame Kelly Holmes Sports Centre and Shoprite stores on the Isle of Man.
