markilux presents the new “FineLine” fabric edit

Focus on the essentials: timeless patterns and durable materials

The awning manufacturer markilux is expanding its fabric range with a stylish new edit. Ten carefully coordinated patterns in four harmonious colour families bring timeless elegance to patio design. The exclusive “FineLine” fabric collection was launched in February.

Above all trends

The new collection’s patterns are the result of observing trends over several seasons. “Our aim was to develop a collection that deliberately focuses on the essentials,” says Annette Busch, Head of Textile Design at markilux. “We identified and reinterpreted colours that defy other trends season after season and are simply always up to date.” With their natural, finely nuanced tones, the “FineLine” fabric covers create a calm, harmonious atmosphere. For each colour family in the collection, markilux provides specific recommendations for matching façade and frame colours. In terms of design, this creates a balanced aesthetic that combines architecture and shading system.

Textile design and fabric structure

“FineLine” is part of the visutex collection from markilux, which is characterised by exclusive designs. The tactile structure of the acrylic fabrics is reminiscent of fine fabrics and emphasises the timeless character. All ten patterns from the four colour themes Grape & Berry, Sand & Toffee, Pistachio & Sage and Stone & Basalt are inspired by the colours of nature and fit naturally into different patio and garden concepts – from small suntraps to spacious patios.

Optimum protection

The new fabric collection offers a high level of protection against heat, and helps to protect the skin from the sun’s rays. The spin dyeing of the yarn gives the fabric cover its high light resistance. In this process, the dye is applied directly to the inside of the fibre. This ensures lasting colour fastness and prevents the fabric cover from fading.

The new acrylic awning covers also impress with their high material resistance and the usual markilux high quality. Their surface is particularly dirt-repellent and has a self-cleaning effect. Water droplets absorb dirt particles and simply roll off. This keeps the fabric cover clean for longer, which simplifies maintenance and increases the operating life of the awning.
