Providing safe water management solution at specialist healthcare residential property

The Priory Group provides a range of adult residential services supporting those with a learning disability, autism or mental health conditions.

We were approached by Bayard Construction to assist with providing a safe washroom water management system that would allow control of hot and cold taps, shower outlet and WC at the Sutton Manor Romford residential property.

Tony Haworth, National Specification Manager at Thomas Dudley presented the new Dudley washroom control system to Malcolm Neal, Director of Bayard Construction and his lead fitter Danny.

The control system has 4 channels intended primarily to control a single washroom’s water outlets for use in specialist healthcare applications. It has a visual display for easy programming with tactile program buttons and a programmable lock out to prevent misuse of all outlets. The control system works with either piezo touch controls or infra-red sensor controls.

After fitting both Malcolm and Danny agreed that the control box and controls were the easiest to install compared to others. They were very happy with the aesthetics of the control box and felt like it looked more appealing than our competitors.

Testimonial

“The extension pieces are an excellent accessory. We were delighted we didn’t have to chip the walls away! The default timing settings that have been set are great. It allows installers to fit and walk away. The set-up menus are very intuitive, especially compared to other suppliers. Another feature we like is the touch controls as a default setting. With our previous supplier’s control box it was very difficult to switch on. We had to open the box and is not an easy set up. Overall, we are very happy with the control system and would recommend to others”.
