In addition to the sustainability achieved thanks to the chosen product, the RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart Cool Grey 1.5 mm membrane, the cooperative was able to further contribute to environmental sustainability thanks to RENOLIT ALKORPLAN roofing products’ Cool 3 campaign.
A commitment that the company has made together with Treedom and that will see it, also in 2024, engaged to plant 1 tree for every 100 sq.m. of RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Bright or Smart sold.
Efficiency and sustainability for high-precision manufacturing
Goimek focuses on the production of high-precision machining parts to both Spanish and international customers. For manufacturing needs, the company must control the inner temperature of the building all year round. This prompted it to revise the roof of the industrial building, located In Itziar (Basque Country, Spain): an area of 8,700 sqm.
In addition to this, the company required a durable material with a 20-year warranty, which would allow it to achieve better energy performance and thus greater sustainability.
The choice therefore fell on RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart Cool Grey 1,5 mm, a cool colour roof membrane that provides not only water tightness, mechanical resistance, and chemical resistance, but also energy saving, sustainability, versatility, aesthetics, resistance to UV radiation thus longer durability. The membrane is up 60% more efficient than a standard coloured membrane, with a higher longevity than other products on the market.

Goimek’s sustainable choice: planting trees and reducing CO2 with RENOLIT ALKORPLAN
The choice of RENOLIT ALKORPLAN roofing products has enabled Goimek to take a further step towards sustainability.
In fact, RENOLIT ALKORPLAN roofing products has decided to carry on its Cool 3 campaign in partnership with Treedom. The campaign has already allowed RENOLIT ALKORPLAN roofing products’ customers to plant 3,500 trees that will absorb 1,138.30 t of CO2. By choosing RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Smart Cool Grey 1,5 mm, Goimek has contributed to plant 87 trees, which will absorb 30.077 kg of Co2.
