Selway Joyce drives growth through merger with Katherine Innes Consulting (KIC)

March 2026 | Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consultancy, Selway Joyce has announced that Katherine Innes Consulting (KIC) and its founder, Katie Innes, have joined the firm to strengthen its offer across the heritage, culture and education sectors. The move forms part of Selway Joyce’s long-term growth strategy which aims to expand the company’s service offer over the coming years.

Due to celebrate its 70th anniversary next year, Selway Joyce is one of the leading firms in the high-end construction sector offering a range of services including quantity surveying, project management and building surveying. Katie Innes founded KIC after holding senior project management positions at global firms. Focusing on complex heritage schemes, she has built a reputation for delivering projects in line with her ethos of strong leadership, clear communication and an ability to bring complicated proposals to life. Katie has worked on some of the UK’s most important heritage assets, including Westminster Abbey, the National Maritime Museum and Alexandra Palace, as well as with leading independent schools.

At Selway Joyce Katie will lead projects and business development across heritage, culture and education sectors. Her appointment reflects a considered decision to bring in expertise that aligns with the consultancy’s long-established presence.
